Owners Tyler, Linette, Zane & Heidi Schmidt

We first came to South Fork as new business owners in 2016, when we founded Two Rivers BBQ. We owned & operated Two Rivers BBQ until August 2021, when we sold it to a couple that was excited to take our dream and continue to grow it into a bigger business.

Before becoming entrepreneurs, we had very different careers, Tyler was a Firefighter with La Junta Fire Department and Linette was a Communication Officer for the Colorado State Patrol. Then after relocating to the San Luis Valley, where Linette grew up Tyler became a police officer, later promoting to detective. Linette transferred to the Alamosa CSP office and continued working in dispatch and promoting to Communication Supervisor.

After growing wary of working opposite shifts, opposite days off and rarely seeing our son we decided it was time for a change. That change lead to opening Two Rivers BBQ. When we sold that business, we knew we weren’t done being business owners in South Fork! In our first year in South Fork we met some amazing people and with some encouragement, joined South Fork Fire Rescue. We now members there and share our experience with the community we are a part of. Don’t be surprised to see us in uniform while you’re in the store, we may even run past you on your way in. We both have 17+ years of experience with Fire & EMS and enjoy being able to continue serving our community.

Willow Mountain Limited is your place to shop for gifts, souvenirs and custom laser engraving. We offer a variety of customizable gifts, home decor and can customize many of the items we offer in the store. We also know how hard it is to find baby & kids gear in the area so we’re glad to offer a variety of things for that special little one in your life! You can shop local for your next baby shower!

We love the community we’ve become a part of here in South Fork and look forward to many, many more years to come.
